How Domain Transfer Works

Step 1
Initiate the Transfer
The domain must be unlocked and registered for at least 60 days at your current registrar.
Begin the process by providing the AuthToken (available from your current registrar) for each domain you'd like to transfer to Neustar.

Step 2
Approval Process
Ensure that each domain's WhoIs Admin has a Neustar Account before initiating your transfer.
The Administrative Contact for each domain will be sent an email to formally approve the transfer by logging into their Neustar Account.

Step 3
Transfer Complete
The existing registrar will review your request for up to 7 days before completing the transfer.
Once the transfer is complete, you will receive notification that the domain is available for you to manage.
